I live in wonderful Sparkle City. I graduated USC Upstate ( but I still say USCS) in 2005 with a degree in psychology, which comes in very handy dealing with all the ESPN Spartanburg guys. I attended Chapman High School. Go Panthers!
I love college basketball-ACC, of course. Despite what most of my co-workers say, for me the Duke Blue Devils have been and will always be the best. I have very, very recently taken a slight liking to football. . .I still have so much to learn. But I’m trying and I’ve adopted the Tennessee Vols as my team because I think they’re a lot like Duke Basketball. Tradition, game day atmosphere, annoying fan base. . .and at one time a cocky coach that not very many people liked. I really like Derek Dooley, I call him Double Dragon. I just hope the crazies in Knoxville don’t run him off early.
When I’m not fending off the insults of Tar Heel lovers, I’m working to build up ESPN Spartanburg’s name in the community and to make sure our listeners and advertising partners stay excited about this station.
I love movies and have a standing “movie night” with a great group of friends. I don’t watch a ton of television because I’m rarely home the same times week to week and I’m too cheap for DVR. But I like really snarky humor so 30 Rock, Community, Daily Show, Colbert Report, The Soup, Family Guy, Tosh.0, Ugly Americans, Shameless, Portlandia, the Onion’s Sports Dome make me laugh.
Oh and I have a spelling problem, so if there’s ever an error on the website email or call me so I can fix it.
