Spartanburg Sports Media, LLC (dba ESPN Spartanburg) is seeking an experienced Account Executive.
Account Executive will prospect, market and service advertising campaigns, in order to achieve revenue and shared goals set by Director of Sales, as well as develop new advertisers by soliciting area businesses. Duties include collection of monies owed for advertising, management of accounts with an eye toward producing results for advertisers and enhancing radio station revenues and profitability.
Candidates must have a successful history of media or other outside sales performance. Computer literacy and professional presentation abilities are essential. Prior sales experience and new business development skills are a must. Outstanding marketing/presentation skills are required. Must be highly motivated to succeed in a competitive environment. Position requires a person with high energy, outgoing personality, strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written skills, computer literacy, valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
